The Quiet After the Storm

Sometimes life feels like a storm — loud and fierce, a constant roar that shakes everything around us. In a moment, things can change, and the ground beneath us no longer feels steady. We’re left wondering when, or if, we’ll find solid footing again.

And then the storm starts to fade. Though remnants remain, the noise quiets and the world begins to settle. It’s in that quiet that we begin to understand what the storm carried us through — the weight we held, the things that shifted, the parts of us that had to bend just to get through it.

Eventually the air softens and the world grows kind again. It is in the quiet after the storm that we find ourselves again — perhaps forever changed, but still standing.
